Building a garden that’s not confined by the ground
Hydroponic gardening is the process of growing plants using nutrients and water without the need for soil.
Hydroponics differs from typical gardening in that you won’t be using dirt as a substrate / medium in which to grow your plants. Depending on your setup, there could be no substrate or a variety of different options.
Some substrates include coco-coir (dried coconut shell fibers), grow cubes, or even gravel. There are a huge number of ways to set up your hydroponic garden, so the final choice is up to you.
